Future Rites by Alexander Whitley, Sandra Rodriguez and Normal Studio is an immersive and collaborative performance experience experience based on the seminal ballet The Rite Of Spring. Combining motion capture, real-time animation and AI, it invites interaction between the public and a cast of dancers around themes of ritual, nature and sacrifice.

REBOOT by AΦE is an immersive performance involving dance, architecture, AI and soft wearables based on the true story of Matheryn Naovaratpong, the youngest human to be cryogenized. REBOOT questions users notions of life, death and the space in between.

Dracula Immersed by Davy & Kristin McGuire is the world’s first AR pop-up book reimagining the classic gothic story that will mix the digital sophistication of XR technology with the tangible, imperfect quality of paper-craft and the nostalgic, haptic sensation of reading physical books. Each page turn will reveal a new paper set, a new set of animations and a broody new scene in the story of Dracula.

This content experience explores the safe space that unlicensed clubs offered to the African-Caribbean community from the systemic racism experienced in society, and the pivotal role they played in maintaining and evolving culture.

Blood Speaks: Maya – The Birth of a Superhero by Just Another Production Company is an immersive story following a girl’s transformation into a uniquely female superhero. Her powers derive directly from the process of menstruation, taking those facets of female experience that have so often been used as a pretext for subjugation, and turning them into a source of power. Her name, Maya, means magic and illusion in Sanskrit.

Munkination - A Second Chance by Visualise & Royal Opera House is an immersive hiphop/opera presenting an Afro- futuristic adventure story about climate change. The tribe, at the heart of the story, is inspired by the heritage of the originating artist, HAM the Illustrator: his ancestors, the Khoisan, are believed to be one of the oldest tribes on the planet, having survived for thousands of years in harmony with the desert in Namibia.

YonderBeyond

Story Portals by YonderBeyond is a physical pop-up building emerging from inside a book cover which becomes home to multiple stories and characters through the power of AR. As users read and cast their device over this white building, the rooms and characters come to life and progress through the spaces as users do.
